I remember when i bought my First Logitech Revue, i thought it was so cool to be able to have a virtual fireplace on the TV any time i wanted it. Remember the first fireplace app for Google TV? It was Classy Fireplace, it had some other options like WaterFallas and the Beach, but it hasn’t been updated since July 2011.

With Screens On Fire you have the option of Low Definition, Standard Definition and High Def, and if you’re lucky enough to have a 3D TV, you can also be the first to have a 3D fireplace, just to impress your friends.

Screens on Fire is a Google TV app available in full HD 3D video. This genuine fireplace with beech wood was filmed just outside Hamburg, Germany. Even though you will not experience the heat of the fire, we hope it gives you hours of enjoyment and comfort.

The fire was recorded on a Panasonic AG-3DA1 Integrated Twin-Lens 3D Camera. Video transcoding was done with Fusion. The Top and Bottom (TAB) method provided the best results with the H.264 codec.
